Deanne's treat recipe was originated by her Grandmother Bingham, circa 1940. It is a delicious treat, with ice cream in the summer and as a holiday gift in the winter!

Crazy Cake
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
1 cup oats
1 cup Rice Krispies Cereal
PREPARATION:
In a saucepan, combine over low heat the butter and brown sugar. Once melted, stire in the oats and cereal.
Press mixture into ungreased 8x8 pan, mini muffin tin or standard muffin tin. If using a muffin tin, press mixture into cups with the bottom of a glass or cup. Bake for 15 minutes, and cool completely before cutting or removing from muffin tin. Serve with vanilla ice cream and berries, if desired. |
