We would love for you to try our Classic Cheese Fondue recipe below, it strikes the right balance of melty cheese goodness with rich flavor.

Classic Cheese Fondue

Surprisingly simple and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 lb. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 lb. shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 lb. loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch pieces

Directions

Simmer white wine in the fondue pot. Add in Swiss and Gruyere cheeses, a 1/4 lb. at a time. Stir together until mixed and cheeses have melted. Add in the flour and stir together. Add in the salt and ground nutmeg and stir together.

 

Enjoy fondue with French bread pieces.
