This Saturday, April 22nd, we celebrate the 53rd anniversary of Earth Day. It’s amazing to know that on the first Earth Day in 1970, 20 million people rallied together to initiate a positive change to ensure a better planet for the future. Calling for clean air, clean water, healthy soil, and for the world population to unite to protect the planet. Lakeside’s products are delivered to Bianchini’s Market three times a week to ensure optimal freshness for each item and that they are the most delicious organic produce available. And Lakeside Organic Gardens’ many sustainable farming practices encourage a healthy ecosystem with soil enrichment, water reduction and natural pest control.
