Summer grilling doesn’t stop with burgers and hot dogs; fresh seafood is a fantastic choice for the barbecue.

When choosing a fish to cook over a flame, select one that is firm and hearty, delicate fish tend to break apart and fall between the grates. Here are our Top Five Fish for Summer Grilling.

Grilled Salmon with Honey Glaze

Savory and sweet, perfect for weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, more for salmon
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

Directions

Preheat one side of the grill to medium-high heat.

 

In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, salt and white pepper. Stir together well.

 

Lightly sprinkle both sides of each salmon fillet with salt. Place the salmon over the flame and cook for 3 minutes per side. Move the salmon over to the not lit side and brush both sides with the honey glaze. Continue to cook salmon until it becomes opaque.

 

Remove salmon from the grill, transfer to serving plates and enjoy!
