Pi Day Doesn’t Get Much Sweeter
Did you know that this Thursday, March 14th, is a very special day for mathematics? It marks the annual celebration of the mathematical constant Pi, as in 3.14. March 14th is also theoretical physicist Albert Einstein’s birthday. Pi Day was unofficially founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw but was not officially recognized as a National Holiday until 2009, when the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation. To celebrate Pi Day, you can find custom Pi Symbol Pies that were baked and delivered by local favorite Woodside Bakery. There will be a variety of flavors to choose from, so finding your favorite should be breeze. So, whether you are a math enthusiast, love delicious pies, or you’re somewhere in between, you can count on Bianchini’s to have the tastiest pies for Pi Day.
